These are men who have learned to live with their thoughts and emotions. They don't struggle. The longing for being at peace with myself has been there as far back as I can remember, and this has prompted these 'men paintings.' I call them the '700-year-old men,' as I imagine if we were to live that long, we would figure out how to live peacefully, how to live the right way...
